Beautiful and unusual pair of vintage West German ceramic vessels featuring elaborate molded figural relief decoration in a rich combination of cream, dark brown, and warm gold/bronze tones.
Both pieces have impressed form numbers on the underside:
• Smaller handled vessel: 2201/20
• Larger vessel: 1200/25
The 1200/25 form number is documented on vintage West German relief pottery, including pieces identified as part of the Jasba “Antik” series. The exact manufacturer of these two pieces has not been conclusively established, so they are being offered as West German pottery rather than attributed to a specific maker.
