This beautiful Williamsburg “The Red Bird” cake plate and matching ceramic server feature a lovely cardinal nestled among lush botanical foliage, inspired by the illustrations of 18th-century naturalist Mark Catesby.
Produced by Andrea by Sadek in Japan, this delightful serving set features a softly scalloped plate with a rich green border and coordinating server adorned with the same exquisite bird and botanical artwork.
The illustration is adapted from Catesby’s The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands, originally published between 1731 and 1743.
Perfect for serving cakes, pies, and desserts, or simply displaying as part of a collected English cottage kitchen or dining room.
